Ina & Jose met in Bali, where Ina’s gifts as a bridge to the spirit world have fully awakened, and Jose guided her on her journey of honoring her gifts for service to humanity. Which happened way back when this dynamic duo began co-creating magic together.
They each have dedicated their lives to what Ina likes to call, never mind the mind. Together, they traveled across the world to remove blockages, activate their guides, and strengthen their spiritual path.
Now, as beginner’s mind modern mystics, they have joined forces to launch the light portal retreats. An immersive experience for deep transformation, removal of blockages, and connection with your guides by incorporating ancient rites of passage into their every essence, blended with plant medicine wisdom.
LIGHT PORTAL CEREMONY
The Light Portal Ceremony draws from ancient shamanic and pagan traditions, aiming to connect higher-frequency light from the heavens to cleanse and harmonize earthly energies. Participants engage in breathwork, bodywork, and sound healing to create a powerful light portal that unifies yin and yang forces.
This collective experience aims to shift individual and collective energies, clearing denser energies and reconnecting to our inherent light nature. Facilitated by a group of guides, the ceremony provides individual and group healing while fostering the removal of accumulated energetic blockages.
MEDICINE
Peyote is a small, spineless cactus that contains the psychoactive compound mescaline. It has been traditionally used by indigenous peoples in Mexico and the southwestern United States for spiritual and medicinal purposes. During our Light Portal Ceremony, we will use a powder microdose of peyote. This microdose, taken before the ceremony and served with a teaspoon, is carefully measured to provide a subtle boost to the experience without causing overwhelming effects.
In the gentle embrace of the light portal ceremony, the effects of a peyote microdose become a mystical dance unique to each soul. Within this sacred space, it unfurls the wings of expression, granting participants the power to soar and crystallize their intentions. This harmonious fusion effortlessly dissolves energetic barriers and releases emotional burdens, paving the way for profound transformations and liberated spirits.
In the heart of the Amazon rainforest, indigenous tribes have long revered Rapeh as a sacred plant medicine. Derived from medicinal plants, Rapeh (also known as “hapé”) is a finely ground Tobacco with deep spiritual significance and healing properties. They are traditionally prepared by Amazonian shamans and used for various purposes, including grounding energies, enhancing focus, and facilitating a deeper spiritual connection.
During our Light Portal Ceremony, you will have the opportunity to experience Rapeh in a safe and ceremonial manner. The preparation and administration of Rapeh involve a gentle blow of the powdered medicine into the nostrils, facilitated and guided by our experienced facilitators.
In the framework of our ceremony, Rapeh serves as a tool to enrich your spiritual journey and refine your intentions. By calming the mind—often a natural outcome of Rapeh usage—it liberates your body, emotions, and energy to express themselves freely, unhindered by the confines of conscious thought. This liberating effect enables a deeper connection with your inner self and the ceremony’s intentions, fostering a profound and transformative experience.
Sananga, derived from the Amazon rainforest, is a natural medicine crafted from the root bark of the Tabernaemontana Undulata/Sananho shrub. This revered substance has been used traditionally by indigenous tribes such as the Yawana and Kaxinawá. Its preparation involves a meticulous process, resulting in powerful eye drops. When applied directly to the eyes, Sananga provides a brief yet intense stinging sensation, indicating its active engagement with the body.
In our Light Portal Ceremony, Sananga serves as the final touch before closure. This sacred element cleanses and purifies, effectively clearing any lingering unwanted energies. At last, It grounds participants, preparing them to return to a state of inner clarity as they proceed with their journey after the ceremony.
A gentle reminder: Participants wearing contact lenses are kindly asked to remove them before applying Sananga. Afterward, they can safely use their lenses again after the ceremony.
***NOTE: The medicine, Rapeh, will be occasionally offered throughout the retreat and the various ceremonies to assist participants in their own inner spiritual journey. It is optional, and participants can refuse to take this medicine if it doesn’t resonate with them.
***Furthermore, these explanations will be relayed again to the participants before the ceremony starts, and we are open to any questions/concerns they may have.
SPIRITUAL GUIDE ACTIVATION
A spiritual workshop designed to connect with your inner spiritual guides. But first, what is a spirit guide? Spiritual guides are not a pet or parallel identity. It is a part of you that exists within. Its presence brings positivity and guidance to live your fullest life. Its shape or form can represent an animal, a mystical being, or a deity that is unique to every individual.
Once you realize and acknowledge its existence and capabilities, the next step is to awaken and express without the mind’s involvement in a safe, sound circle through guided drumming and shakers.
BIOMIMICRY WORKSHOP -
Led by Baja
Biomimicry is a concept based on a deep respect for nature and seeing nature as both a guide and a platform of support in our personal lives. This workshop supports a deeper connection with nature’s brilliance while bringing nature’s lessons and patterns to the surface of our consciousness. In biomimicry, all organisms are respected as teachers and wisdom holders.
The workshop will utilize guided breathwork and imagery along with detailed information about nature’s genius that is intended to enhance your personal journey and connection with nature’s abundance. This workshop will be 90 minutes and will be lovingly guided and supported by Baja.
WACHUMA CEREMONY
The Wachuma (San Pedro) ceremony is a traditional Andean ceremony practiced for thousands of years. It is a spiritual ceremony involving the use of the Wachuma cactus, also known as San Pedro, a sacred plant believed to have healing properties.
During the ceremony, the Wachuma cactus will be served in powder form and consumed by the participants (with water and a little orange juice for taste). Then, participants are encouraged to relax and let go of their fears and anxieties, allowing the plant medicine to guide them on a journey of self-discovery, spiritual awakening, and healing.
The Wachuma ceremony is performed for many reasons, including healing physical and emotional ailments, connecting with one’s spiritual nature, and gaining insight into one’s life purpose. It can also help to improve mental health by reducing anxiety, depression, and stress. Lastly, it also boosts the immune system and promotes overall wellness.

MUSHROOM CEREMONY
The Sacred Mushroom Ceremony unfolds as a sacred and transformative ritual, guiding you through a profound journey of self-discovery, healing, and personal growth.

TEMAZCAL
Step into the embrace of the Earth’s womb during the Temazcal Ceremony, a sacred practice rooted in Mexican tradition. As you enter this mystical space, intentions are set, and ancient chants fill the air, enveloping you in a cocoon of healing energy.
Within the Temazcal, the process unfolds with intention setting, followed by immersive practices within the mother’s womb, involving sacred chants and prayers. The ritual’s essence lies in the application of heated stones and herbal steam infused with medicinal plants. This combination of heat and natural elements serves as a potent detoxifying agent, purging the body, mind, and spirit of modern-day pollutants and stresses absorbed in our daily lives.

WATER BLESSING CEREMONY
In the mystical Indonesian tradition of Ina, the Water Blessing, locally known as “Bayuh,” is a sacred ritual of cleansing, purification, and divine connection within us.
As we gather, draped in the sacred “Sarongs,” we prepare to immerse ourselves in this magical experience. With each drop of water, intentions are whispered, merging with the fire’s dance, sending prayers for our lives.
Following Temazcal’s intensity, the Water Ceremony marks a profound renewal, a spiritual rebirth where souls are cleansed and reborn, guided by our divine intentions.
CACAO CEREMONY
